Episode 7: Dominica- You get in the water and fooop it’s all gone
This week we're headed to the Caribbean. We'll speak to a dive shop owner, self described "Jack of all trades, master of none" on the off-the-beaten-path island of Dominica. We'll meet Simon Walsh of Nature Island Diving, Before that we'll hear from Divers Alert Network about where we're at in Covid-19 and diving, Because our feature interview is longer than usual and we chatted about the importance of the ocean, we didn't want to intrude into that space - so we're skipping our usual Think Blue segment this week. However, if you're itching for more, you can look up the free interactive platform Ocean School at oceanschool.nfb.ca something that our future guest, photojournalist Nick Hawkins worked on, and who we'll feature on the show in a few weeks. Also,Nick Fisher fills us in on a Nova Scotia favorite dive site. We'll have a book recommendation, April will have dive safety tip, and we learn who we should follow next on social media.
