Lt: Žiema buvo šaltoka, bet mokyklos išvykos diena buvo laukiama su nekantrumu.
En: Winter was quite cold, but the school trip day was eagerly awaited.

Lt: Dovydo klasė keliavo į akvariumą.
En: Dovydo class was traveling to the aquarium.

Lt: Jis buvo dekoruotas kalėdinėmis lemputėmis ir girliandomis.
En: It was decorated with Christmas lights and garlands.

Lt: Dovydas žvelgė į darytą grožį ir laukė pamatyti delfinus.
En: Dovydas gazed at the crafted beauty and eagerly awaited seeing the dolphins.

Lt: Ema ir Giedrė ėjo priešakyje, vedė visą grupę.
En: Ema and Giedrė were walking at the front, leading the entire group.

Lt: Akvariumas buvo pilnas spiečiančių žmonių, pipirų kvepalų ir laukinių vaikų juoko.

En: Dovydas tried to see past the heads blocking his view but saw only a mist of water.

Lt: "Delfinai turėtų būti kitoje pusėje," šnibžtelėjo Dovydas tyliai pats sau.
En: "The dolphins should be on the other side," Dovydas whispered quietly to himself.

Lt: Nusprendė rizikuoti ir akimirkai atsiskirti.
En: He decided to take a risk and briefly separate from the group.

Lt: Jis pro mėlynus tunelius ir mažas sales nukulniavo iki ten, kur plaukiojo delfinai.
En: He wandered through the blue tunnels and small halls to where the dolphins swam.

Lt: Netyčia atsitrenkė į darbuotoją, einantį priešais.
En: He accidentally bumped into an employee walking in the opposite direction.

Lt: Darbuotojas, dėvintis šviesios spalvos uniformą, atkreipė dėmesį: "Oi, atsiprašau! Tu lankaisi delfinų parodoje?"
En: The employee, wearing a light-colored uniform, took notice: "Oh, sorry! Are you visiting the dolphin exhibit?"

Lt: Dovydas linktelėjo galva. "Taip... man labai įdomu."
En: Dovydas nodded. "Yes... I'm very interested."

Lt: "Tuomet gal norėtum padėti per delfinų maitinimą?" paklausė darbuotojas, šypsodamasis.
En: "Then would you like to help with the dolphin feeding?" the employee asked, smiling.

Lt: Dovydui netikėti šie žodžiai.
En: Dovydas couldn't believe these words.

Lt: Jis turėjo galimybę ne tik stebėti, bet ir dalyvauti.
En: He had the opportunity not only to watch but to participate.

Lt: Su darbuotojo nurodymais įsikūrė mažoje platformoje prie baseino.
En: Following the employee's instructions, he settled on a small platform by the pool.

Lt: Delfinai buvo visai šalia.
En: The dolphins were very close.

Lt: Jis klausėsi, kaip darbuotojas aiškino apie įvairių žuvų rūšis ir jų elgesį.
En: He listened as the employee explained about various fish species and their behavior.

Lt: Kai viskas baigėsi, Dovydas jautėsi pilnas įspūdžių ir naujų žinių.
En: When everything was over, Dovydas felt full of excitement and new knowledge.

Lt: Jis sugrįžo prie klasės, jau išėjusios iš delfinų zonos.
En: He returned to the class, which had already left the dolphin zone.

En: Ema and Giedrė were waiting by the seashell exhibit.

Lt: "Dovydai, kur tu buvai?" paklausė Ema.
En: "Dovydai, where were you?" Ema asked.

Lt: "Na, aš buvau... Feed'inau delfinus," atsakė Dovydas, šypsodamasis.
En: "Well, I was... feeding the dolphins," Dovydas replied, smiling.

Lt: Jis joms papasakojo visą istoriją.
En: He told them the whole story.

Lt: Abi merginos klausė atidžiai ir su dideliu susidomėjimu.
En: Both girls listened attentively and with great interest.

Lt: "Girdėjai, Ema? Dovydas nusimano!" sakė Giedrė, draugiškai jam stuktelėjusi į petį.
En: "Did you hear, Ema? Dovydas knows his stuff!" said Giedrė, giving him a friendly nudge on the shoulder.

Lt: Dovydas pajuto, kad jam pavyko užmegzti ryšį.
En: Dovydas felt that he had managed to make a connection.
