This is episode 18 where we talk about how for change to occur in your life, you can't be a prisoner of your circumstances. Know that God is willing to help you today. You just have to decide to trust Him, get up, and actively pursue the freedom He's giving you!

During a Jewish feast in Jerusalem, Jesus visited the Bethesda pool where sick people gathered, hoping to get healed. One of the people waiting to get healed was a man who had been crippled for 38 years. When Jesus saw him, He asked if he wanted to be healed.

To me, the man's answer tells us why he hadn't been healed in 38 years. He said, "I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred." Bottom line, the man was avoiding responsibility.

Prayer: God, I don't want to be a victim of my circumstances. I want to change. I receive Your strength and Your freedom today. I believe that real change can occur in my life as I walk with You. I also believe that these things can happen for anyone who is listening right now if they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. So it's in Your great name we pray, with everything we have, we love you God, AMEN!

This is episode 17 where we talk about how God's timing is often a mystery. He doesn't do things on our timetable. Yet His Word promises that He will not be late, not one single day.
 
Habakkuk‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭says “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”

Prayer: God, I know that Your timing is perfect, even when I get tired of waiting. Help me to trust in You and rest in Your plan for me. Please give us the peace and patience needed to fulfill the plans you have for us today. It's in Your great name we pray, with everything we have, AMEN!

This is episode 16 where we talk about how there are usually two sides to everything. The cross has two: a crucifixion side and a resurrection side. Jesus had to endure one side to get to the other. But if He hadn't endured, then we'd all still be left without a Savior and no forgiveness of our sins.
 
Hebrews 12:2 says "fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Prayer: God, we want to endure like Jesus. Help us to get a vision for the joy of obtaining the prize that awaits us so that we can endure whatever trial comes our way. It's in Your great name we pray, with everything we have, AMEN!

This is episode 15 where we talk about how you spend more time with yourself than anyone else, and it's vital that you get along well with you because you are the one person you never get away from.
 
Isaiah‬ ‭43:25‬ ‭says “I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.”

Prayer: God, just like the verse we just read from Isaiah says, You blot out my sins and accept me, which means that I don't have to reject myself. I am free to love myself in a healthy way because You love me! Please give us the gratitude perspective today like only you can Lord, we love you, we thank you and it’s in your great name we pray with everything we have, amen!

This is episode 14 where we talk about how it's okay for us to say, "I've reached my limit." Yes, scripture says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" , but that's really referring to times when we face various trials and situations that God will help us through.
 
Numbers 11:12 says “Did I conceive all this people? Did I give them birth, that you should say to me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing child,’ to the land that you swore to give their fathers?

Prayer: God, sometimes it's hard for us to slow down and say no to more responsibility. Today please help us to live with the balance of responsibility You created for us, so we can live with Your peace and enjoy life. It’s in his great name we pray with everything we have, amen!

This is episode 13 where we talk about the world we live in today and how we will have all kinds of problems, frustrations and difficulties. That's just life. So knowing this, what do we do? We must remain steadfast and persevere. In other words, the answer is never give up! No matter what's going on in our lives, the victory is in refusing to quit.
 
Galatians 6:9 says: "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up"

Prayer: God, I believe that You are at work in our lives, even during difficult times. We choose today to remain strong and to never give up in obedience to You. When we lose focus and have a few missteps, let us center our minds back on Jesus, who made the ultimate sacrifice by taking on the cross to cover our sins. May we never forget that eternal love for us. It's in his great name we pray with everything we have, Amen!

1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:13‬ says “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Prayer: God I realize temptation is a part of life. Help me not to be caught off guard or surprised when it comes. Thank You for the wisdom and grace to overcome any and all temptations and to live in Your victory. It's in Your great name we pray with everything we have, AMEN!

We have to remember that faith will always require us to accept unanswered questions, and we must come to the place where we're satisfied to know the One who knows and place our trust in Him. 

James 1:17 says “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

Prayer: God, we may not always understand why bad things happen, but I know that You are good. When I don't understand why, I will find my comfort in You. I pray that anyone struggling right now finds that peace today and experiences your everlasting love. John 7:38 says “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Prayer: God, I want to keep Your river of living water flowing in me. Show us what the junk is that's blocking the way and then show us how to clear it out. Please work progress into each of our unique situations today. We love you so much!
