I stand with all Gen Zers who voted in the election of a lifetime. We did what we could to reach to the finish line. However, the people told us we weren't there yet. We will continue to do our part to meet the challenges of the moment, and make every opportunity count.

Reach out to your homies in need of support during uncertain times. There are resources out there for young people to take advantage of. We all need a hug or a high five at some point.

The race for the next Mayor in Merced is heating up, with one of our top 2 contenders headed for a rematch. Anthony Martinez (I) is a former Merced City Councilmember who served in the Mike Murphy Administration (2016-2020) who ran against Matt Serrato in 2020 (now the current Merced Mayor).
