Mentions for the Pixies, Happy Mondays, Nirvana and Pearl Jam and speculation as to whether Ke$ha is drunk on her new album and if Elon Musk is human.

No guests and a surprising amount of actual reviews including Thin Lizzy, Black Lips, Wire, Pet Shop Boys, Happy Mondays, Drive-By Truckers, Squarepusher, Tom Raybould, Frances Quinlan, Graham Coxon and Blossoms. I'll class this as 'relatively entertaining'.

Dude pops in as a guest and helps discuss Graham's guest-laden soul album, 'Bear, Hugs & Harmony'. Almost certainly containing members of Super Furry Animals, The Manics, The Darkness, Menswear, Los Campesinos!, Future Of The Left and De La Soul plus Shakin' Stevens, Charlotte Church, Connie Fisher and Richard Osman. Or not. A customer comes in to buy a Who album that he doesn't like and we do a sort of Bowie Top Trumps quiz in honour of the anniversary of his death.

End of year round up really. No guests to speak of, just Matt and Graham doing a run down of the Diverse albums and reissues of 2019. It's probably really boring. Have a listen anyway.

This week, we have Minty of Minty's Guide Guide To Cardiff as a guest. We asked Minty on to talk about the Welsh Music Prize as, alongside Matt, he was on the judging panel last Wednesday. As usual, things went off on a tangent, old Diverse owner John Richards walked in, we got carried away and totally forgot to talk about the prize. We recorded  a bit afterwards but it was too long to tag on here so there may be a standalone special!! We did remember to review stuff, including Prince, The Blue Nile, Fleetwood Mac, Funeral For A Friend and The Low Anthem though.

Guest Kate Mercer talks about Art On The Hill, Newport's very, very multi-venue art trail. We all review Queens Of The Stone Age, Leonard Cohen, Ben Lee, The Beatles, Danny Brown, The Beatles, Hefner and Shed Seven. No children, no crazy phone calls, no car parking madness. It's relatively sensible. Kind of.
