Bernadette Kolonko is a lecturer, dramaturgical consultant, filmmaker and author specializing in feminist film history, essay film, queerness, and gender in film. In conversation with Diversity Spotlight Host Smilla Diener, she talks about what the search within storytelling means to her and what only becomes real once we find the language to describe it.

At ZHdK, Bernadette hosts the «Diversity Cinema», teaches in the minor «Diversity Politics and the Arts: Gender Perspectives», and has developed the expanded Language Guide. Her Book «Unsichtbares und Ungesagtes - 10 Female*Feminist*Gazes» is available at Schüren Verlag (online open access).
