For anyone who thought he was going to have a better run this movie, you’re not totally wrong. There are some nice moments, and even some hopeful ones. All Shinji needed was a little love in his life, but instead got the death of both of his friends. But in the end who had the last laugh after he ascended to godhood. The Third Impact is beginning. The world is ending.
