God had a plan for the ministry of Paul, and the Brethren with him, that was different than their plan. When their desired path was closed, God's path was opened. God had a plan to bring help to Europe via the proclamation of the Gospel and the salvation of souls. His plan was to bring salvation to a woman named Lydia, so He brought the Gospel and the Holy Spirit to bear on her heart. God is in control of the ministry direction and the ministry results of His people. And we can rest in that- Amen-
