On this week’s episode of Tying It Together with Tim Boyum, we talk with filmmaker Jonas Pate, a North Carolina native and co-creator of the hit Netflix series “Outer Banks.” The show debuted during the coronavirus pandemic on April 15 and quickly rose to number one. 

Pate tells us the stories behind the show, the reason it’s not filmed in North Carolina, and yes, we will address the Outer Banks to Chapel Hill ferry controversy.  Pate also talks about the film industry in North Carolina and why he thinks it’s so important to the state.
