Perhaps you have heard about the couple that was perfect for each other, but all of the sudden one of them takes off and leaves the other in absolute shock. Or maybe you have heard about a teenager who ended their life without the family having a clue that they were living in despair. Sometimes you wonder, do you ever really know someone the way you think you do? In John 17:3 Jesus prayed, "And this is the way to have eternal life-to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one You sent to earth." That is something we all want...to know God, and to know Him closely. When you get right down to it, more than anything you do as a Christian, knowing God is the most important. It drives everything else that happens in your life. The awesome reality is God wants us to know Him, and He gives us a roadmap to knowing Him intimately. What does it take?
