Most days I don't even know what to feel. The divorce process is already difficult and being discarded like "trash" adds another level of difficulty to this journey. Sis, it is important to keep putting one foot in front of the other, no matter how bad the day or week is. You will look back on this one day and sing a happy song because it was exactly what needed to happen. As women, sometimes, the very thing we are fighting to keep is the thing destroying us. Do you know, this is the first time in a long time, that I felt I actually have a shot at living a long and healthy life? When you are in the situation, no matter how painful it is, you just want it to work. I remember asking, "Can we just have a good day today?" It will hurt, sis but only temporarily, if you keep moving forward. I will never stop believing in love but I can say confidently NOW, that everyone is not worthy of my light. My love, my energy source, and my ability to make a man feel like he is the only man on the planet is not meant for everyone. Whatever makes you unique, Sis is meant for someone special. Learn this lesson from me, don't let the world trick you into believing you are less valuable; the people giving these opinions and making these statements usually don't like themselves and they give advice from a place of bitterness.
