This week, I am joined by Wayne Rudson, President of Rudson Valuation Group, to discuss business valuations and income assessments, which are issues that are often seen in family law files involving self-employment. These assessments are done on the marriage date, and again on the separation date. Often where one spouse is self employed their reported income may be very different than their actual income so it is important to employ experts like Wayne to determine the true numbers.
