AthenaLuv is a Boston-based techno DJ whose roots in underground electronic music stretch back more than two decades. Her sets move through techno and related styles, blending old-school influences with a modern edge, precise track selection, and a strong sense of movement on the dance floor.

She first began learning beatmatching in 2004 while heavily involved in the underground scene as a promoter. After years spent primarily on the promotional side of electronic music, she began performing as AthenaLuv in 2021 while living in Honolulu.

In Hawaii, AthenaLuv became active in Honolulu’s underground electronic music community, working with crews including Siren Project and Noisemaker Media and becoming a regular on KTUH and Renegade Radio. In 2022, she appeared on lineups supporting artists including TestPilot, K?D, Kendoll, LA Riots, and others.

After returning to Boston, AthenaLuv continued expanding her presence through performances, radio, and underground music programming. She hosted a monthly show on the UK-based Fnoob Techno Radio and later served as Thursday Resident Manager, curating techno programming and providing a platform for emerging artists.

Her sound remains rooted in techno while drawing from hardgroove, hypnotic and driving rhythms, breaks, electro, and progressive influences. AthenaLuv approaches DJing with the perspective of someone who spent years helping build the dance floor before eventually stepping behind the decks herself.
