Welcome back to the final episode in this series, where we catch up with people from around the world that now live and work in Ibiza.
We are finishing off with a guest that has had many chapters in his life, DJ, Artist, Fashion designer, and one-quarter of the DJ collective, Melon Bomb, Scott Gray.
He first visited Ibiza back in 1997, the trip “blew his noodle”, and he met his future wife on the dancefloor at the legendary Space.
After some years, they decided to up sticks from the UK and make their home on the White Isle. After working on different jobs on the island, he began djing under the monocle of Chapter, which led him to join forces with three other established DJ/Producers to form Melon Bomb, who have played across most of the clubs on the island. But it´s their residency at Pikes that have given them legendary status amongst the Ibiza clubbing fraternity.
We hope that it won´t be too long before we see them back to the decks and we can all dance again together!

Happy New Year to you all, and welcome back to the penultimate episode of our first podcast series Talking Loud Ibiza, where we catch up with people from around the world that now live and work in Ibiza.
This week´s guest holds the enviable position of being the first female Event Director for Pacha, Jessica Capaz.
She first visited Ibiza when she was only 19, looking for work she ended up working at the iconic Cafe Mambo, which lasted only two weeks after an unfortunate accident happened with a tray of glasses. That didn´t put her off, she persevered with the island life by working as a pr for many different parties and venues.
Fast forward 16 years, and she is now the Events Director of the world’s most famous clubbing brand Pacha. She programmes the season at Pacha Group´s venues across the island, with her team, to create the magic that millions of clubbers around the world come back for each year.
NOTE: This was recorded towards the later part of 2020, but we hope that 2021 will see Pacha open again and we can all get back to the dancefloor!

Welcome to the first episode of our podcast Talking Loud Ibiza, presented by the DJ Awards. This week´s guest is the Founder of the DJ Awards which he created back in 1998 – Jose Pascual. Born in Barcelona, he has become a legendary figure noted for organising groundbreaking events. At 18 he went travelling in a car from Barcelona to Mumbai – more of which you´ll hear later. He settled in New York, where he opened an art gallery, buying and selling Latin American art. His awareness of electronic music came when he first saw a MOOG synthesizer, shown by some Colombian musicians called Elkin and Nelson. After settling down in Ibiza in the '70s, he saw first-hand how the DJ´s were evolving to a new electronic sound and launched the first edition of the DJ Awards. 23 years later, the event continues to grow, delighting millions of fans all over the world, whilst celebrating those who make up the electronic music scene.
Presented by Jasmine Elias (DJ Awards Director), together with Ryan Be and guest presenter Julia Charlton.
