Sometimes life drops you into strange places at strange times.

This mix starts there.

Our protagonist isn't a hero, a robot, or some smooth-talking superstar.

He's just a guy who's been taking a few hits from life lately.

The plans didn't work out. The future feels blurry. The nights are getting longer and lonelier.

So he does what people have always done when life gets messy and you’re feeling alone.

He follows the music.

One night he ends up in a forgotten little discotheque on the outer rings of Planet Funk-Prime.

The neon barely works, the drinks are questionable, and nobody seems quite sure why they're there.

At first, everybody he talks to feels like a disappointment or just more of the same.

Wrong conversations. Wrong people. Wrong place.

Then just as he's about to call it a night...

The DJ plays "Where You Been".

And across the room he sees her.

Not because she's the most beautiful person there.

Not because fate starts playing violins.

Just because something clicks.

A strange place. A strange time. The right person.

Against all odds, they hit it off.

One conversation becomes two.

One dance becomes another.

The night gets brighter.

The music sounds better.

For a little while, it feels like maybe life is finally starting to make sense again.

The tracks that follow capture that feeling.

The excitement. The butterflies. The late-night adventures. The memories made. The intoxicating belief that this might actually be something real.

But not every story has a fairy tale ending.

Sometimes people change.

Sometimes the timing is off.

Sometimes what felt permanent turns out to be temporary.

Slowly, the cracks begin to show.

Conversations become arguments.

What once lifted him up begins wearing him down.

And then, just as unexpectedly as it all began...

it all comes crashing down in flames and regret sets in...
