We welcome in special guest, DJ Diehard aka Street Beast aka McClain Douglas Johnson. DJ Diehard has a great story to tell and he shares it with us as we countdown the days to Boulevardia and to his set on Friday night at The Silent Disco. We learn about his early days as a DJ in New Orleans, we get to hear about a massive list of musicians that he’s interviewed over the years as a blogger and journalist, and we get to hear a 20-minute mix teaser set of what his set might sound like this Friday at the fest. DJ Diehard picked out a few artists he is most excited to see at Boulevardia and we play music from them as well. Hear music from Jason Isbell, Big Freedia, and a brand-new single from Hembree, which actually comes out this Friday.
