Let'z roll back 2 tha yr of 1991' & the Club is NYC'z infamous Wild Pitch, where DJ Pierre named his new sound @ tha time. I personally had chats with my brother Pierre telling me that Wild Pitch was his favorite club when he lived in NYC & how his new tweaked up synth heavy tracks got it's name "Wild Pitch".

Listening 2 this live mixtape, I can see why or how Pierre related his new sound 2 Nick Jones music selectionz.

Another DJ & Club that needs 2b recognize in thee House Music world. These were tha dayz people came 2 tha club 2 release their tension after a hectic work week & the DJ of that club would make you 4get about all your stress & worries, unlick 2day with the crowd standing there with their face stuck on their smart phones & not enjoying the experience.

Around in the late 80'z & into the early 90'z I started getting tapes DJ's all around the globe wanting to do a guest mix. And if they were up to par, I'd played their mixes instead of doing my own live DJ mix.

My passion was always in educating the listeners to what was being played around the globe. And in this set, I got from a NYC promoter of a DJ named Ernie Kendell. From the very first listen I played it on our show. & the rating were great as the phone lit up.

I haven't heard of Ernie ever since. If anyone here no of his where about, please have him hit me up on [email protected]
