Here it is!! My 2025 Year End Mix.  The track selection are songs from the second half of the year.  Some are guilty pleasures and some are straight up bangers. Thank you to all for encouragement and support and wishing all of you all the best in 2026.

This latest mix comes at the request of a pickleball playing math genius from the Midwest who challenged me with a 2000's rock set. This one was a journey, and I'm glad G requested it. I received a lot of positive feedback on the draft, so I decided to post it as-is—hence the title.

Revisiting this era has been meaningful. So much of the Nu Metal and Rock from the 2000's carried real weight and substance. Other than Nickelback & Limp Bizkit, the lyrics and messages in these songs caused me reflect on all those I've known who are no longer with us, and how music can become a lifeline during difficult times.

I want to say something to anyone out there going through tough times right now: you matter, and you are important to so many people. I say this with peace and love—if you're not feeling right, if the world feels like it's against you, please know that there are resources available and people who care about you. You are loved, and your presence in this world matters more than you may realize.

2025 has been off to an interesting start and I am not talking about the geo-political climate.  Let's take a break from that.....

There has been so much good new music and I wanted to share some of my favourite tracks over the last 6 months.  Inspired by conversations with Andy Motts, I was inspired and wanted to get this set out ASAP!

Summer is around the corner for many of us and I feel almost all these songs can be the soundtrack to your summer. 

I'm back and inspired by Yacht Rock a Documentary. Many of the tracks rank high on the Yacht or Not Yachtski scale, hip hop tracks that sample iconic yacht rock songs and one song that you may think is yacht rock but really isn't.   

Back at it.  A 62 minute set inspired by music fans.  Battling my mixer this time but the set list was too good to pass up!  Some tracks many of us have forgotten about or would not dare request but they still hold up in this day and age! Thank you for listening

Another DC collaboration with a tip of the hat to Flex! Year 2 of the pandemic and still mixing it up.  Reminiscent of a Saturday night on Richmond or Adelaide, maybe a jaunt up to Jarvis or down to Queens Quay? Conjuring up memories of Fluid , The Phoenix, RPM, Whiskey Saigon, Klub Max, or whatever your poison was. Can't forget those at Superstars or Club 108. Only thing missing is the Chinese food at 4am!

Sometimes your in a mood and in a groove.  

2020 was a challenging year for many. I have been blessed with staying safe and life was not disrupted as much for myself as it was for others. The challenge I had was finding the time to complete the 3rd mix. So here it is... Let's celebrate life, moments, memories and most importantly celebrate whatever positive things we could find in 2020!  As for the mix?  I got lost in it but it has a flow.  This will get up to 138 bpm which I was not expecting.
