Underground Soul Part 3 - Down, Dirty and Soulful - 13 July 2019 (DJ Pauly)

    • They say music is a drug that can put you in a trance

    • Causing your body to sway and connect with song

    • A song that calls your name and doesn't let you get far

    • Making you turn around when you thought you wanted to leave

    • One more songOne more beatOne more battle

    • All sense of time is lostIt's only you and the music

    • Welcoming you to remain locked into an afterhour with no means of escape

    • Ignoring all the pains in your legs and feet

    • You dance on

    • You sway on

    • You sweat on

    • The maestro will not let go of you and you love it

    • You now know what it feels like

    • To get down

    • To get dirty

    • To get soulful

      • ...welcome to Underground Soul

              WORDS

              • The familiar sound of the needle hitting the record

              • the crackle in anticipation of the sound

              • when you hear the music, your desire is confirmed

              • how you longed for that rhythmic pulse to coarse through your body

              • beads of sweat, accepted

              • lost in the direct deepness called house....

                • This installment from the Deephouse Lounge takes you deeper into the vinyl journey of dark rhythms and soulful chants.  Enjoy.
