Here we are again; so go and tell a friend - Deephouse Lounge is on fire!!!! We are well into Spring 2018 and the snow is finally thawing; our ears and legs are in need of some good house music.  That soul that makes you jump out of your seat and dance.  We've been couped up way too long; time to let ourselves go and do what the music is telling us...what is it telling you?

The Deephouse Lounge goes on a little trip to the South-Side of Chicago to visit AB Studios – aka Anthony’s crib to mess around with his new Pioneer mixer.  No better way to bring in Part II of Change of Seasons with a change of scenery.  Needless to say, this mixer is fire and I enjoyed playing some heaters on it.  Featuring music by Joe Claussell, Mike Dunn, Shino Black, Brutha Basil & Louie Vega, Terry Hunter, Martin Atjazz, Mark Francis and  Antonio Ocasio.

Introduction

Back in November 2017, I made the appetizer; "Prelude to Seasons of Change".  I continue the movement, with the latest installment:  "Seasons of Change Part 1: The Soul of House".  This mix validates that Soulful House is alive and kicking.  The Gospel elements intertwined with some of the best female and male vocalist in House Music today. 

The producers and remixers of the songs do not dissappoint.  The music flows well with the vocals - so enjoy the journey as we move from Fall to Winter, Winter to Spring and Spring to Summer.  Look out for Part II and III coming your way soon.  Enjoy.

Digging through the CD archive mixes, I found this gem from December 2005.  I put a lot of R&B house remixes on this one and it does not disappoint.  The Spanish version of John Legend's, "Ordinary People" gets the party started just right.  Sade, Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye and the remix of Jill Scott's, "Crazy" - pure heat.

Just when you thought I was done giving some deephouse heaters as a gift, here is onemore from 2006 that will light your feet on fire.  This one is special because my wife and I were packing up the old place; cleaning up and preparing to move out to the new crib!!!

I have been known to be animated and energetic behind the 1s and 2s, so you can only imagine the elation I was feeling 10+ years ago when I made this.  So "Let's Bring Down The Walls" to the end of a crazy 2017 with some foot stompin', booty shaking, head bangin', DEEP HOUSE MUSIC.
