My Brooklyn trip was exactly what I needed! Thanks in part to my musical brother Itch13 who let me play his radio show, "Bloom Bap"! I'm not known for downtempo/lofi/reggae/hiphop, but I'm finding a stronger desire to play them more. Bloom Bap was the first to give me that moment in NYC. This was also my first time playing with Serato, too! Here's my solo set. The entire show is SICK! I like the directions Itch takes with his musical mind.

Bloom Bap streams LIVE every Tuesday from 2-4 PM EST at BBOXradio.com.

Greetings,

"EN DIRECT VOL 3" is the most recent in the "EN DIRECT" series. It was my turn to open the night with MIDWEST SESSIONS. It brought me back to my GROOVE TEMPLE days, where I had to gradually create a vibe & tell a story. Featuring: Beady Belle, Wunmi, Irfan Rainey, Ron Trent & more. Enjoy.

I Might do Something Wrong : Tortured Soul

"EN DIRECT VOL 2" was recorded at Liquid in San Francisco, 2002. This was the first time I ever played outside of Chicago and I was super excited! I had been playing 3 years once this party happened and only played vinyl! San Francisco is one of those cities that has amazing crowds - they know the songs, sing along and never stop dancing. Playlist will be updated once I comb through my music and find the missing links.

Enjoy!

This is the first of a NEW series I'm starting - "EN DIRECT". Over the last almost 2 decades, I've amassed quite a few recordings that no one has ever heard. Since I feel that this is the people's music and not mine, I decided to share the wealth. Stay tuned for recordings from Paris, Houston, San Francisco and of course Chicago.

Xx
