djconnor mixes

My brother Gary wanted the remix for Biggie's "One More Chance" and Tim was looking for some "Party and Bullshit." Well, here's that and then some:

Sky's The Limit

Party and Bullshit

Somebody's Gotta Die

Suicidal Thoughts

Notorious Thugs

Juicy

One More Chance (Remix)

Big Poppa

Freestyle (w/2pac, etc.)

It's All About the Benjamins

16 Bars

Hypnotize / Little Green Apples [Frank Sinatra]

I'm kicking this mix off with probably my favorite Bjork b-side ever. Don't get me wrong- Bachelorette was a fantastic song long before RZA got his hands on it. It just shouldn't be a surprise when his melodic wu-beats fill out the epic arrangement.

Upon final review, this mix has a rather triphoppy feel to it. Hmm. That wasn't the intention. Ah, well. I go where the music takes me.

Anyhow, I present Quadraphonic for your listening pleasure.

Bringing it Back, in all of two acts. First, I'm taking it oldskool, with some OG good times. They moved the parties and got shit going. Let's take a ride on the oldskool way back train.

With the second act, I make the leap to some breakbeat, because well, that's just how I roll. Be on the look out for dabs of some drum n bass and house. Who knows.
