Jessica is amazing. What a joy to have her on the podcast, from across my neighborhood right here in Djibouti. She offers practical tips for raising littles during this lockdown. She talks about her worries for family in the USA and what it feels like to be stuck here. And, we have a really honest conversation about how to keep our work here going. She made me cry. Again.
After our conversation, Jessica's father passed away and she is unable to leave Djibouti. She wrote about the grief and trauma on her Instagram. Please keep Jessica and her family in your thoughts and prayers as they process this loss from a distance.
