As the regular season winds down – for both fantasy and the NFL – Travis and John are wondering aloud, why are NFL teams so hesitant to scrap their dead end season? A veteran quarterback struggles, while his young backup waits for an opportunity that may not come while the team’s playoff hopes are alive. The guys are handing out lectures like candy, also admonishing dynasty players who bail on their young receivers too early, and traders who overvalue draft picks and undervalue solid veterans. It’s a therapeutic episode of Super Flexible!

With James out of pocket for the week, Travis and John are putting their Russell Wilson differences aside and teaming up to make sense of the fantasy football landscape as the fantasy playoffs approach. In a game of “True or False,” the guys are pondering the futures of players from Samaje Perine, Andre Ellington and Devontae Booker to Paxton Lynch, Jay Cutler and Nathan Peterman. Is Aaron Jones the guy in Green Bay? Thielen or Diggs? Kamara in the top 6? So many questions to answer… without James “The Brain,” can these guys resist the urge to just alternate “T” and “F” for every answer?

The focus of the 15th episode of Super Flexible was meant to be on trades, but an eye-popping bet stole the show, and in the unlikeliest of segments. Travis’ “SuperStreaker” has James in a gambling mood, and he’s willing to wager all the hair on his head for all the hair on Trav’s face! It’s the great American tradition of the Hair Bet, to be paid up live on Episode 16!

There is still plenty of time for trade talk, as the guys discuss trade values of Corey Davis, Sterling Shepherd David Johnson, Alvin Kamara, Matthew Stafford, Philip Rivers, Stefon Diggs, Mitchell Trubisky, and 2018 draft picks. Plus draft strategy and “junk math” on player values. The guys are pulling out all their trading tools to help prepare for various league format trading deadlines!

And the gang rehashes their Week 10 bold predictions, makes some new ones in “You’re Nuts!,” and throw out some Week 11 “SuperStreakers.” All that and more in Episode 15 of Super Flexible!

The gang is back, and this time they’re trying to prepare for life without two great young quarterbacks; rookie sensation DeShaun Watson is out for the season with a torn ACL in practice, and Andrew Luck is teetering on the brink of catastrophe as he’s shut down for the season, with his career in the balance. The guys are talking rankings and replacements for the AFC South field generals. Plus, Jameis Winston will sit and heal, which means it is FitzMAGIC time! How will the Buccaneers fare with Travis’ doppleganger in for Famous Jameis? And Eli Manning may be headed for the bench as the Giants’ season slips away; what does the future hold for The Last Manning Standing, and which of his backups is worth a stash in superflex leagues?

Everybody was kung-fu fightin’ in Week 9, as AJ Green and Jaylen Ramsey went at it, Mike Evans attacked Marshon Lattimore, and Carlos Hyde took on the entire Cardinals defense. What does the NFL’s disciplinary action mean for the players involved? And how do those battles stack up against the slugfest between Andre Johnson and Courtland Finnegan?

The guys are also talking trades, as contenders try to rally from the loss of Watson and Aaron Rodgers and reload for the playoff run, and everyone else is getting their quarterback of the future at a discount. Would the guys mortgage the future for a championship run? And would they advocate for trading the almighty OBJ in dynasty leagues? It. Is. TIME!!! It’s Main Event time on Super Flexible podcast, with a 12-round battle that has been building for weeks, and it has come to a head!

In the red corner, we have John: a Cam Newton truther who believes Russell Wilson is far too erratic to be considered an elite dynasty quarterback, with up-and-down performances at inopportune times. John believes Cam Newton is a more valuable dynasty quarterback because he has demonstrated the ability to sustain excellence, as evidenced by his MVP season in 2015, when he was consistently ranked among the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks every week.

In the blue corner, we have Travis “The Beard.” Travis is the current Super Flexible torch-bearer for Russell Wilson, and contends that Cam Newton is the inconsistent fantasy performer, finishing two of the previous three seasons outside the top 15 for fantasy quarterbacks. He ranks Wilson as an elite fantasy quarterback for his immense upside, citing his torrid finish to 2015, when he finished as the fantasy QB3.

Besides the debate to end all debates on the consistency of two polarizing fantasy quarterbacks, the gang is talking trade deadline moves as a young quarterback changes jerseys, conferences and coasts, teaming up with an offensive mastermind, and one of the game’s biggest stars gets a new bodyguard. Two young gunslingers fill the sky with footballs, while a third has an uncharacteristically bad game; the guys discuss the futures of Wilson, DeShaun Watson and Dak Prescott. A gruesome injury to one of the game’s top tight ends paves the way for some young players to emerge as fantasy options, and a star is born in the Steel City… so what do you call the thing he chained up on Sunday night? All that, plus last week’s bold prediction reflections, and “You’re Nuts!” and “Super Streakers” for Week 9.

More bold proclamations and predictions from the Super Flexible gang going into Week 8, although Week 7 ended up being humbling to some extent for all three of the guys. But “You’re Nuts!” was generous to at least one of the SuperFlex SuperFriends, while another was essentially shut out! The guys have a new round of “You’re Nuts!” predictions, focusing on the running backs for Week 8, and some Week 8 Super Streakers as well.

Plus, Carson Palmer may be done for good (or at least the season), but how much can you trust his replacement? Jay Cutler is injured and will return soon, but will he have a job to return to? DeShone Kizer finds himself in a vicious cycle of being named the starter in Cleveland, then getting benched almost immediately; how can he jump off this carous-hell? And Amari Cooper appears to be back, but can fantasy players really trust him? And do they have a choice??

After reflecting on some trades (and debating the values of Marcus Mariota, Ezekiel Elliott, and more), John mediates the inaugural “FaceOff” between James and Travis, as they attempt to settle a disagreement on Andrew Luck. There’s a 7-spot discrepancy between their rankings of Luck in dynasty superflex, so they’ll hash it out and plead their cases!
