In this episode I speak with Julia Wöllenstein, who is a teacher at Carl-Schomburg-Schule in Kassel (Germany). We talk about Julia’s experiences as a drama teacher at a „Gesamtschule“ (comprehensive school) and how she devises and stages plays with her students who are often not your usual theater kids and how her school is a „Kulturschule“ (school that promotes the arts and culture) which has been integrating theater as an important part of school life for many years now.
