Tom is kind of a grandfather of DMM in the United States. An early conversation about DMM showed Tom that people thought DMM might be unbiblical, but Tom saw DMM as a biblical model. Tom saw Jesus in the scriptures showing us a DMM model. Specifically he is convinced Jesus’ message, his gospel, is a gospel of the Kingdom. We tend to be taught the gospel of atonement, but Jesus seems to start with the Kingdom of God. We explore these thoughts and more in our conversation with Tom.

In this episode we hear from Kelley on how the Holy Spirit directs our steps to learn from Jesus. God is doing a new thing in Northern Colorado, and we see in the scriptures Jesus’ way of teaching us how to live into a new way to worship. Jesus’ entire earthly ministry was a ministry of vulnerability. We must be vulnerable in order to minister like Jesus taught, modeled, and expects.
