But first, let us refresh what the numbers 13 and 21 mean. The number 21 is defined in the King James Bible as exceeding sinfulness of sin. We have studied in the past that the number 13 is the number defined for depravity and rebellion. In verse 21, there are 13 descriptions of what defiles a man.(Mark 7:17-23) "And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. {18} And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; {19} Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? {20} And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. {21} For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed (1)evil thoughts, (2)adulteries, (3)fornications, (4)murders, {22} (5)Thefts, (6)covetousness, (7)wickedness, (8)deceit, (9)lasciviousness, (10)an evil eye, (11)blasphemy, (12)pride, (13)foolishness: {23} All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."

Number 14 in the Bible and the froward man. For starters, what does the word "froward" mean? Well, according to the King James built in dictionary, the word "froward" is children with no faith:(Deuteronomy 32:20) "And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith."(Psalms 101:4) "(A) froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know (a) wicked person."Proverbs 16:28 (A) froward man soweth strife: and (a) whisperer separateth chief friends.Proverbs 8:13 takes the definition of "froward" one step further. Notice this definition is found in the 13th verse, the number defined in the King James Bible for depravity and rebellion.(Proverbs 8:13) The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.Let us now look at how the froward man relates to the number 14.
