In this week's Do Life Big podcast, I talk all about what to do when you just aren't feeling it.
We've all had these down days, right? You pop out of bed and things start to go wrong right out of the gate. At that point, it's easy to let the entire day get away from you 😩
This is totally normal. Everyone has days like that. But you don't have to lose the entire day to that feeling of "blah".
I use what I call my 🛠 "toolkit" ⛏ to help bring me back around! I've got some things I do that make me feel better, and to help ME dictate my mood instead of letting my mood dictate MY DAY.
Here are some examples of things in my "toolkit"
Loud music in my earbuds 🎶Getting in a workout 💪Listening to something that will make me laugh or inspire me 😂A BIG iced coffee ☕Going for a drive in the convertible with the top down 🌴Your Toolkit might have some of the same things in it, or it might have something completely different. Here are some other examples:
Yoga, or breathwork 🧘♀️Go for a walk 🚶♀️Call someone who can lift you up ⬆Get your nails done, or a massage 💅DancingBesides the toolkit, play close attention to who you spend time with when you feel unmotivated or uninspired. Do you get with people that lift you UP , out of the funk, or do you have people who just wallow along with you? The people you surround yourself with matter, BIG TIME!
Don't forget - YOU are responsible for your feelings. Be your own HYPE PERSON!
And get that toolkit ready for when you need it!
