For the avoidance of doubt, it remains my view that, on average across the UK, house prices have fallen (more than reported so far), are falling right now, and will continue to fall for some time. 

That's my view, but it doesn't mean I'm right! You have to decide for yourself what's happening in the market you want to live in.
