The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) has proposed the government consider income tax waivers due to the impact caused by the Covid-19 outbreak. We discuss the feasibility of this suggestion, and alternative moves to help ease the burden of businesses and individuals during this pandemic.
