In this episode, another one of our Cheeky Girl Bosses, Jen Doerschuk Geh, shares how she and her partner, Marcy Horbus, have started and have grown The District Boutique in Green. She talks about why she and her partner began this business and how they work so well as partners since each of them bring their own gifts to the business. In the 6 years that their boutique has been open, they have learned to blend their styles and adapt to all of the changes, including doing business during Covid. Jen explains how she has learned to juggle being a single mom with 3 kids, running a business and finding time for herself. She shares that she is "good at compartmentalizing" and tries to be present in each moment in order to find the joy in whatever she is doing. She sees that life gives her choices and she has to be the one to make the best choices for herself. Another familiar theme that she shares is learning from everyone she encounters. This brings respect and a positive work environment to herself, her partner and her team. Listen and learn from this successful and amazing girl boss.
