Imagine  that you were born into a society where the word "freedom" was  forbidden, where the idea of freedom is punishable by a long prison  sentence.

And just like that, a revolution starts.

The people of Romania united with their #military , an uprising began. In normal circumstances you would believe that  once the military is on the side of the people, victory is guaranteed.  It was not.

Victory and #freedom  have a price and that price was paid by hundreds of civilians and military personnel who fought the militarised #intelligence  services of Romania, better known as Securitate.

Freedom was eventually won. In my interview with Cristina Davy - Dating and Relationship Coach, she explained how her mother was wounded in her own apartment by a bullet which was 8mm a part from her heart.

Cristina shared her story about a post-#communism  life and her own fears, obstacles and a crushed self belief that she was worthy, smart and good enough.
