Relationships and people that truly believe in you
Belief - trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something
It's NOT the relationship you have faith in, It's not the other person's beauty, it's not their age, their fertility, their finances, the car, the athleticism, their accent or even their race!
Its their purpose, their reason for existence their WHY
That is where the belief sits and should be held.
Many of us, including myself, get into or have gotten into or are currently in relationships for improper reasons. Usually, those reasons are to fill voids we have in ourselves.
When was the last time you sat with the person you love and asked
“Do you believe in me?”
“Do you believe in my mission?”
You’ll have a pretty good idea if they ask questions like
“What?”
“What is your mission?”
Babe, “What are you even talking about?”
If you don't have faith, trust or confidence in your partner’s purpose in life, how would you ever expect the relationship to flow or to be successful?
And vice versa, this isn't a one-way street.
True love is indeed hard to find.
True belief is even harder, but it is out there.
This topic may create some serious and difficult questions for you to address but I assure you this is okay and necessary. You must always make sure that the people closest to you actually have your back and are believers in your dream, not for validation! But for the fluidity of accomplishment. Why be with someone who doesn’t believe in YOU?
. Having a longterm successful close intimate relationship with someone like a spouse or bf/gf requires a lot. But it requires so much more if you have a mission or goal that would ultimately benefit from their belief and support of that goal or mission.
I can recall an ex girlfriend that blatantly shit on my goal when I was in my early 20s. I remember the feeling it created within. I felt like my goal was actually pushed further away in that moment. In hindsight, I should have dumped her on the spot, knowing what I know now I would have.
The benefit of having people you love believe in you is remarkable. It’s like always having a cloud of reassurance there to remind you of your greatness, of your ability and your purpose. Things can get difficult and Idc what anyone says, successful people do not get where they are ALONE. It does not happen. They build a team
