This is it… the last stop in your Star Trek journey and we now end with the latest of the reboots, Star Trek Beyond. Possibly coming at the time where the appetite for this movie franchise is fading due to Into Darkness sucking and Discovery coming out. The new crew had to celebrate its 50th anniversary with hopefully a decent film. Did they manage it?
Join Becca, Dave, Chris and guest Charlie as look this instalment and wonder if Into Darkness is now written out of existence, do we need to see the Enterprise get destroyed again, is it still cool to like The Beasty Boys and what is Simon Pegg’s obsession with the word “lassy”?

Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return in Star Trek Generations commentary
The Starship DYEUTT reaches what is the probably the worst revived films in the franchise according to Star Trek fans. While we enjoyed ourselves while shaking our heads at the stupidity of last week, this week stretch our heads as the cracks of stupid begin to revival itself even more. As Kirk gets the ship taken off of him only to get the ship back literally 5 minutes afterwards (a flippant guess but probably not far off), Kirk gets orders from Robocop a attack mission to kill Khan.. I mean John Harrison in a film that involves people frozen in missals and magic blood.
Join Becca, Dave, Chris and guest Charlie Brigdon as we review a film that get everything wrong. I this episode we discuss, who is Cumberbach actually playing, who thought keeping the identity of the villain a secret was a good idea, how this effects the overall story or development of any of the characters at all, why did Alice Eve need to be in this film and how Chris Pine likes to fix stuff.
On the last stretch of our Star Trek Journey, the USS Do You Expect Us to Talk reaches the reboots. Star Wars fan JJ Abrams takes us back to Jim Kirk on his first adventure on board the Enterprise with a different twist. This time the timeline has been disrupted by a Romulian ship from the future and a new timeline starts.
As ever as it’s Star Trek. Becca, Dave and Chris are joined by Charlie as we bitch and complain about a film we find gets everything wrong but somehow we all enjoy and like. Listen as we talk about Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman’s finer works, lens flare, the Kobayashi Maru again and why are Kirk and Spock such dicks in this.

Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return in Star Trek Into Darkness
Merry Christmas from us at Do You Expect Us To Talk. As a little gift underneath your tree, we’ve given you a bonus special episode. This time we sit down and watch the festive classic and a firm favourite with all three of us, Frank Capra’s It’s A Wonderful Life.
Apologies about some of the sound and connection issues that we experienced while recording. Due to this it may not sync right with your viewing but we offer nothing but insight, critical analysis and crude humour.

Merry Christmas
As we bid farewell to Picard and co in the final film to feature the Next Gen cast, the starship DYEUTT take on Star Trek Nemesis. It’s Wrath of Khan but without Khan… or indeed any Wrath… just a young bald Tom Hardy hamming it up as the bad clone of Patrick Stewart.
Joining Becca, Dave and Chris is Charlie Bridgon who is joining us on this voyage as we review all the Star Trek movies. Sit back and enjoy as we discuss cockney accents, Will Weaton’s glorious return, mind rape and Jim from Neighbours.

Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return in Star Trek
It’s another fine episode where we talk about the TV movie of the week. The third Star Trek film to feture the Next Generation cast is a bit of a low fi affair. This time the crew stand by their pricables and go against their prime directive and protect a small populated planet that has miraculous healing and ani aging factors. Natually a bad guy with bad plastic surgery is after what they got and wants to turf them out to take the power for himself.
Join Rebecca, Dave, Chris and Charlie as we struggle what to discuss about a film that looks at Picard’s taste in woman, MILF’s, stretchy faces, bad CGI and why this was released in cinema’s and not on TV.

Not without the help of a certain toupeed over actor of course.

Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return in Star Trek Generations
Reaching the half way point of our voyage through Star Trek so that means commentary time. Joining us again is Charlie Brigden as we sit down and watch The Wrath of Khan on BluRay.
Apologies for the sound distortion due do technical difficulties, that creates some distortion and caused us go out of sync. However, we provide good banter as ever. Naturally as its Wrath of Khan we talk about Into Darkness, play spot the wig and accessorising armchairs into clothes.
