Yesterday Sam Kuffel Meteorologist for CBS 58 News made national news for being fired this week for a social media post on her personal account reprimanding Elon Musk for his “Roman Salute”. Kristin and Brian talk about company policies and knowing your rules as an employee when navigating personal social media accounts and being a public figure. Later they speak to Veteran and Chief Nurse executive at UW Health, Rudy Jackson joins Kristin and Brian to talk being honored by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development for their exemplary work for hiring and supporting Veterans with their Wisconsin Military Medics and Corpsman Program.  He explains how their program utilizes their military training to work in a civilian healthcare role. He also shares how these programs are helping fill the growing shortage of nurses, and waiving the requirements for certifications they are skilled in has helped with our healthcare systems both locally and nationally.
