1. We're now hearing from the families of the children killed in the mass shooting in Minneapolis. It's hard to imagine the pain these families are feeling. Their lives forever changed. The victims have been identified as eight-year-old Fletcher Merkel and ten-year-old Harper Moysk. A parent who raced to the school on Wednesday took video showing the moments just after shots rang out.

2. Two people are recovering after they were injured in severe turbulence onboard a United Express flight from Aspen, Colorado to Houston. There were only 39 passengers on the United flight that was being operated by SkyWest as it flew from Aspen to Houston. Without warning she says the plane dropped and those not seat belted hit the ceiling. The plane diverted to Austin to get the injured medical attention. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

1. A tax loophole that had been in place for decades for imported goods has now been closed by the Trump Administration. As of today, packages valued at less than 800 dollars will be subject to fees of up to 50 percent, depending on the country of origin. It could also, depending on the carrier, mean that customers pay a flat fee of up to 200 dollars.

2. Happening right now in Green Bay, Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst addressing the assembled media less than 24 hours after executing a trade with the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons comes to the Packers in exchange for two first round draft picks and three-time pro-bowl defensive tackle, Kenny Clark. The Packers are also making Parsons the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history, $188 million dollars over four years.

3. Good news on gas if you're driving this holiday weekend! Checking out the Triple A gas gauge for you: The average price for a gallon of regular is 3.02 in Wisconsin, well below that national average of 3.20. If you're filling up in the Milwaukee-Waukesha area, you'll pay on average 3.06 a gallon. It's 3.04 down in the Racine area.

On ‘Good Morning America’ today, House Speaker Mike Johnson says he has full confidence in Robert F. Kennedy Junior's judgement. Monarez, a federal government scientist, was confirmed by the Senate on July 29 to lead the CDC after President Donald Trump nominated her earlier this year. She was sworn in by Kennedy on July 31.
