Transmission LXXVIII: I started manipulating a track by one of those acts I'm supposed to sound like and ended up ruminating it for months. Time to put it out of its misery. This is lining up to be a very busy month full of collaborations with other artists.

Transmission LXXVII: What's up, dog? Here's the last MBP track of 2016. New album "Space Is the Taste" will be availble as a CD or digital download on New Year's Day! It was a great exercise in determination to do one track and video per week, as inspired by esteemed cohort Maurice Rickard (http://onezeromusic.com/), who's been keeping this up for several years. The momentum felt great , and while there are definitely more updates in the works for 2017, my manager is encouraging me to slow my schedule down and take a bit of a hiatus to do things like, you know, get some sleep for a change.

Transmission LXXVI: Another long jam. It would have been a lot longer if Ableton hadn't reached its file size limit. Well, its certainly been a productive year. decelate productions hopes that you've had the same, and wishes you the best in gearing up for a productive and fulfilling new year.

Transmission LXXV: The hooks from 4 or 5 different '90s shoegaze tracks smushed themselves at 2am, Wednesday. The melody turned into a bassline and the bassline went 4 octaves higher.

Transmission LXXIV: The guy that's Advance Base said he was looking for spooky podcasts. I inferred that he meant a full-length show, so one was made for him, misappropriating one of his older tracks.

Transmission LXXII: Challenge anything that could be wasting time and effort, particularly habitual tasks, meetings and reports where responsibility is inherited or handed down from above. Don't just assume that just because 'we've always done it this way' that it's still appropriate or even required at all. Think about why you are doing things, and whether there is a better way.

Transmission LXXI: Now that you've got your copy of Pokemon Sun and/or Moon, it's time to download the MBP double album LET ME SHOW YOU MY POKEMANS (Red Version and Blue Version.) The music in Sun and Moon is no doubt gonna be wonderful, but if you're playing Moon, or are just a Hex Maniac, you'll want to get some nighttime moods going to wrangle those Oriental Demons!

Transmission LXX: Close to the Kuroshio, the western boundary current of the North Pacific Ocean subtropical gyre, and under the strongest monsoon system of the world, the physical, chemical, and ecological environments of the region are strongly influenced by ocean and atmosphere changes in lateral momentum and energy inputs, surface heating and cooling, and wind stress forcing over wide temporal and spatial scales.

Transmission LXIX: Countless questions in search of an answer... an answer that will give rise to a new question... and the next answer will give rise to the next question and so on. But, in the end, isn't it always the same question? And always the same answer? The synth is square. The track lasts five minutes. That's a fact. Everything else is pure theory.
