Last week was part one of

building an awesome family. We learned that “playing” with our family was

important, encouraging all of us to enjoy and invest our time with our

families.

This week we will look at

building an awesome family by encouraging growth for each member as we look at

Luke 2:52, where Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and men.

We’ll talk about the challenge of lifelong learning. We’ll also look at four things

we need to learn as a family. Those four things are “How do I deal with how I

feel?”, “How to handle conflict”, “How to handle loss”, and “Teaching your

children what matters most.”

These practical truths God’s

word contains are like seeds planted within our family. If you like to read

ahead, read these scriptures: Luke 2:52, Romans 12:15, Proverbs 24:16, and 1

John 2:15-17.
