University of Kansas Medical Center Program Overview
The Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree is intended to produce professional audiologists for clinical practice and is designed to be completed in four years including summers.
This program has been designed to meet the academic and clinical requirements of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and prepares students to meet the academic and clinical requirements for the association's Certificate of Clinical Competence.
A minimum 99 credit hours*, including academic course work, independent research, and clinical practicum, is required.
