This serial is a mad one, ending in a good old massacre. Fish, nuclear reactors and endless corridors, truly the staple of a Classic Doctor Who fan.

This mad episode captivates Ben, Luke and Nick with its fish-people striking, Troughton in sunglasses and hammy old Zaroff. Nothing in ze world can stop us now.

Earth-shattering kabooms are what Zaroff wants and what we scoff at. Other things on the derisory menu are music, religion and fish. Troughton's great though. We like him.

Bizarrely enough, this one's an average episode. Shame about the other three. The trio muse about this poor serial's existence in general, concluding it did the best it could. "Oh dear, this is really all too much" - Algernon Ffinch, 1746.

The trio are unimpressed by this episode; despite its gun-toting, burglarising, cross-dressing, third-party conniving themes. The writer is given a right good seeing to.

Floundering on things to talk about in this clunker, Nick, Luke and Ben resort to giving pet names to motor cars and theorising where all the missing episodes are. Certainly not in Scotland, that's for sure.
