Steve has written many original novels for many Doctors including Jodie Whittaker's 13th Doctor. Back in the Wilderness Years, he was Overlord of the Eighth Doctor and Past Doctor BBC novels, ushering in established and brand new talent to both ranges as well as penning more than a few titles himself - though how he found the time to both write and commission so many titles a year is beyond us!

In this podcast we talk to Steve about his origins as a Doctor Who fan and his early starts in the writing business. We discuss the Eighth Doctor range of books that followed the TV movie, his approach to writing books for Doctors yet to see their episodes aired, plus writing for Time Lord Victorious, the Young James Bond books,  his successful series for younger children Astrosaurs and his collaborations with Tim Peak, Sophie Aldred, Tom Baker and much, much more.
