Random Who - The Lazarus Experiment

In this podcast, the Who's He? Randomiser selected The Lazarus Experiment for Phil & Scott to mull over. Starring David Tennant and Freema Agyemen, this end of of series 3 plot setup episode, riffs on The Quatermass Experiment, features a future fishy person and Dirty Bertie. But this time, instead of talking about it, Phil came up with the wizard idea of doing an audio commentary instead. This may have not been such a good idea.

But in the news, the BBC have published their invitation to tender to make Doctor Who, so the lads pick out some of the more salient points to chat about.

Who's He? On The TV - The Grand Tour

It's the return of Who's He? On The TV and also the return of The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime. With a trio of new hosts, this reboot attracted a lot of online ire before a single frame of footage had been seen. So what does Phil think of this reboot and is it right to compare this iteration to the Clarkson, May and Hammond era?

Welcome The Ninth(ish) Doctor - Scream of The Shalka

We return to our occasional series where Phil and Scott look at the inaugural stories that introduced the world to a new Doctor.

This time, it's the turn of the Ninth Doctor but not the one you were expecting. Yes, Phil and Scott are talking about the other Ninth Doctor, Richard E. Grant in Scream of the Shalka.

In 2003, the future of Doctor Who was online and in the form of Flash animation. But behind the scenes shenanigans and the constant phrase "rights issues" scuppered this iteration of Doctor Who before anyone had seen a single frame.

Review - Doctor Who and The Pirates

Aha me hearties, Cap'n Phil and Boatswain Scott take to the high seas to bring you a review of Doctor Who and The Pirates from Big Finish, starring Colin Baker as the Doctor and Maggie Stables as Evelyn Smythe. But there is a very good reason why the lads picked this audio story. Sadly, the other star of this audio story, Bill Oddie sadly passed away. Bill Oddie was a legend of British comedy and more known recently for his passion for ornithology and conservation, so the Who's He? Podcast are reviewing this in tribute to him.

Also in the news, we also sadly lost Tom Chadbon, Duggan in City of Death and Merdeen in The Mysterious Planet.
