Matthew 5:43-45 says, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor & hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies & pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.” Nothing seems more natural than to hate those who have mistreated us. In fact, as someone recently said: "Everything the world says about human relationships is wrong!"

When you start with God, no one will have to tell you to be bold. You’ll be bold & the world will wonder where your courage comes from.

If troubles are keeping you awake & peace of mind eludes you, then today's message is for you. Today we’ll see in Psalm 4 how you can have a heart full of peace, even when you have a head full of troubles.

If lost people matter to God (and they do) ... then they darn well better matter to us!

In this day of enlightened skepticism when unbelief seems to be on the march, we have to face this difficult question: Will we believe the Bible, all of it, every word of it, from first to last & everything in between?

As long as we limit God to what we think he can do, we will never see anything great because our faith remains so small. But once we are willing to suspend our disbelief & renounce our skepticism, then & only then do we become candidates for a miracle.

We all make a big deal out of something every day. Each day has its own headlines, its own "top stories." The question is: What is it going to be in your life? What are you going to make a big deal out of?

Faith comes by hearing & hearing by the word of God ... so can you imagine what will happen if you hear yourself speaking God's word & God's truth throughout the day? Your faith will increase.

To experience spiritual growth, you need to nurture those things that you want to grow & you need to weed out those things that hinder growth.

You weren't made for the middle of the desert. You were made for the still waters. You were made for the quiet stream. You were created to live life with a satisfied soul. So, how do you get there?
