It often takes a Gethsemane experience to fulfill the call of God on your life. But if you will pray as Jesus prayed—no matter how crushed your soul may be—"God, not my will, but yours be done," you will find the courage & the strength to follow him obedience.

When it comes to temptation, God's attitude is not "Prove to me how strong you are." His attitude is "Let me show you how strong I can help you be."

The same hands that prayed, that were tied up, that were pierced—now, those same hands are holding your hand as you walk through life.

May we always remember & tell God’s story & by the power of the Holy Spirit—live out its truth in our lives

You need a God whose ways are vast beyond understanding. You need a God whose purposes span the generations. You need a God who cannot be stopped by the evil deeds of evil men—or the Evil One! We have a God like that!

Nothing wrong with me ... or everything wrong with me ... which attitude?

The Christian faith is not a sprint and it’s not really a marathon. It’s a relay race, and I am but one member of a team that stretches across the generations.

Before you try to make a splash, before you try to go global with your great ideas, before you try to set the rest of the world straight, you need to first make sure that the life you are living measures up to the standard of holiness that God has established for his people.

Our Lord is able to take the humdrum, the commonplace; the ordinary, normal events of any life & with his touch make them full of flavor, fragrance, strength & beauty; to turn them into wine. And the good news is that He will do this with any of us as we faithfully walk with him, follow & believe in him. That is why John highlights for us, "there the disciples believed in him."
