Godly leaders need to get into the habit of asking themselves all throughout the day, with every encounter, "What does this person need from me? What does this situation require of me? What am I doing in pursuit of my greatest priorities?"

: Obedience & Trust or Doubt & Excuses. What will it be? Is there anyone who will follow? Is there anyone who is willing to look into the eyes of Jesus & say to Him: whatever you say Lord, I will follow.

If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord & Savior, you are transformed & need to be witnessing to that. You need to be telling others about Him & what He has done for you. You need to be that light in the darkness.

This great chapter of the Bible, this microcosm of the mission of the church, begins with the words: When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

We're in this together, too. Let's put our trust only in God, relying completely on Him to do things greater than we could ever hope to ask or imagine, let us be faithful to pray, faithful to give, faithful to follow, faithful to obey, faithful to go where He leads us. Let's welcome His presence, so that we can all experience the winds of change.

Doing good in a world that isn’t good, will never be easy. It will never come without a price. God has placed us in this world to be examples of His light & His love & His mercy.

Our message is not, "Here we are. Come join us." Our message is, "There you are. How can we help you? How can we serve you? Can we tell you about Jesus?" Do you know what that means? It means that we are the seekers. We're not waiting for the fish to jump into the boat. We're casting our net into the water.

It's not a question of whether or not God wants to move. It's a question of whether or not you're willing to be moved. It's a question of whether or not we’ll break through barriers to become the church God has called us to be.
