Yo, this is a tough topic for me. I do get pretty heated in this entry, but I just have so much pent up frustration around the fact that so many people are still okay with my rights as a human being diminished. It’s not okay. Churches/organizations that oppress the LGBTQ+ community should be clear about where they stand, and if you are an ally with the LGBTQ+ community, you should not follow their teachings any more than you would follow the teachings of a racist pastor- even if you agreed about everything they said except for their stance on race.
