Is it inconsistent for someone who is pro-life to not be pro-gay marriage? A classmate said the other day that they think it is. I don't think it is, bc I don't think they are the same kind of right (human vs civil?). I don't know much about law, though, so I thought I would get your opinion. The classmate who mentioned the inconsistency argued that those fighting for equal rights for unborn babies should also fight for the equal rights of those babies (& others) if they are LGBT.
