Senator Elizabeth Warren has been dealing with criticism over her Native American heritage claims since her successful Senate campaign back in 2012. Despite the fact that she has been asked about the claims many times over the years, she has never really had a good answer, and some wonder if those credibility problems will continue to hurt her as she gains more national recognition. President Trump has repeatedly referred to her as “Pocahontas”, and the attacks from Republicans would no doubt continue if she decided to run for the White House in 2020.
