Growing up, I was always told to “mind my attitude.” I was a bit of a smart mouth as a kid, and my parents weren’t the type to just let it fly. At the time, I remember being really frustrated every time they told me to “tone it down”. Now that I’m a little older, I am grateful for how strict they were about the way I acted.

Something I’ve learned is that being confident with the way you look is great, but personality goes so much further.

So, what does this have to do with branding??

As I’ve mentioned in previous blogs, your brand is your business’s personality. The real-life analogy I used above, is an example of why your logo isn’t enough to stand out.

Sure, it’s great as a first impression, but it’s not enough. Just like getting a first impression from someone you just met doesn’t count as truly knowing someone.
