Dog Star Oracle Report

The Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius, occurring on December 4th, 2021, wraps up a series of Eclipses in Gemini/Sagittarius that have been happening since June 2020. Eclipses are more powerful versions of New and Full Moons - their energies are far more intense, and their effects can be felt for the next several months.

In this video, I discuss the Astrology of the Eclipse, its aspects, and the direct implications it may have on the United States. I also discuss how each Sign may experience its energy, primarily the new beginnings from this energy.

Eclipse season is once again upon us. Eclipses are more powerful versions of Full or New Moons, and in this case, this is a lunar eclipse, so you can think of it as a supercharged Full Moon in Taurus.   However, Eclipses are much more unpredictable than regular Full Moons. These lunations often coincide with significant, dramatic endings and new beginnings, and can coincide with dramatic events in our lives and in the collective, depending on how it hits your chart. The effects of an eclipse can play out over several months.

In this video, I describe the upcoming Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on November 19th, it's aspects, and how the energy may play out for all 12 Signs.

This week's Astrology kicks off with the powerful New Moon in Leo opposite serious Saturn and squares unpredictable Uranus.   Mars in Virgo squares the Nodes of the Moon this week, acting as a trigger for events began during the May 26th Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius.   Mercury, the planet of communication, enters Virgo this week, helping us to improve our concentration and editing skills, but watch for being a little *too* critical while it's occupying the same sign as Mars.
